I had the privilege of working with the team at Spokane Tree Pro and we began the workshop by simply looking at where money was actually going each month. That small step quickly opened the door to clarity and confidence.

As people reviewed their bank statements, there were some very honest and relatable moments:

“I can’t believe I went to McDonald’s four times last week!

“Look how much I spent on DoorDash.”

From there, we:

  • Built a basic month’s budget.

  • Talked about squirreling away money for slower months.

  • Walked through Dave Ramsey’s Seven Baby Steps to paying off consumer debt.

  • Quietly drafted dream goals for the future.

The STP crew quietly drafting their goals.

Yes, in the shop… proof that focus and growth can happen anywhere.

What stood out most to me were the conversations that followed:

  • How money affects relationships with spouses.

  • How being frugal is not about restriction, but about choice.

  • How simply paying attention to spending can feel empowering instead of stressful.

Money stress is incredibly common. In my experience, most people are not “bad with money.” They just were never taught how to navigate it. This workshop reminded me that awareness, a safe space, and thoughtful discussion can turn anxiety into clarity and confidence. 💡

One of the reasons this workshop meant so much to me was because the business owner, Ben Stanton, genuinely cares about his employees. He wanted to give them an experience that could benefit them long-term and possibly change their lives. We collaborated on what would be most helpful for his team and I built the workshop around those needs.

➡️ If you are a business owner or leader who wants to support your team in a meaningful way, I lead personal budgeting workshops and would love to create something tailored to your employees.

💌 If this is something you’re curious about, feel free to reach out. I’d love to start the conversation.
