In February, I flew to Texas and spent time in the Hill Country. Most of the time was spent between New Braunfels and San Antonio. This girl's trip was full of exploring the area and enjoying Texan culture. Read more for a reflection about the trip and choosing to spend money on things you value.

I'm grateful for friendships that are built on laughter, adventure, and a shared love for making memories. This past trip to Texas was more than just a getaway—it was a reminder of how important it is to pause, explore, and invest in experiences that truly matter.
Lately, I’ve been shifting my spending habits, choosing to spend less on "things" and more on experiences. As my friends began to plan a fly fishing trip, I started budgeting how much money to set aside. These gals love adventures, experiences, and also shopping. I knew I needed to stack a reasonable amount of money to enjoy all the things.
And let me tell you—this trip was worth every penny!
From fly fishing on beautiful Texas waters, cheering at a rodeo, singing along to live music at Gruene Hall, and soaking up the energy at Troutfest, every moment was packed with excitement, adventure, and nonstop laughter.

The joy of exploring new places and sharing these experiences with great friends is something no material possession can replace. Being surrounded by people who uplift and inspire you makes all the difference.
There are endless ways to spend your money, but your funds are limited. Identifying your values will help you spend intentionally, prioritize what truly matters, and eliminate unnecessary expenses. By aligning your spending with your priorities, you can make more mindful financial decisions that bring you closer to your goals.
For me right now, it is all about seeing new places and experiencing new things. Here’s to more adventures, more memories, and being intentional about where we invest our time and money! ❤️
